Puppy Training
Making a difference to you and your puppy’s relationship
Early training helps build confidence, communication and good habits from the very beginning, giving both you and your puppy the
foundations for a calmer, happier and more rewarding life together.
What is Puppy Training?
Puppy training is about so much more than teaching a sit or a stay. It is about building the foundations for a calm, confident and well-balanced dog, while helping you understand your puppy’s needs, behaviour and development from the very beginning.
Using positive, reward-based methods, I help you develop clear communication, focus, engagement and trust. The aim is to give your puppy the skills they need to cope with everyday life, while giving you the confidence to guide them through this crucial stage.
From toilet training and car travel to socialisation, settling, confidence building and problem solving, early learning helps prevent common challenges before they become habits.

Your puppy’s brain is developing rapidly during the first few months of life, making this one of the most important times for learning.
Positive early experiences can help shape how your puppy responds to new people, places, sounds and situations. With the right support, you can build confidence, encourage good habits and create a stronger bond from the very beginning.

"I completed Penny's early learning course with my boxer pup over a year ago now. The course offered a vital mix of theoretical and practical learnings, delivered in a group setting over a number of sessions. Penny presented each segment beautifully, providing essential guidance throughout, starting before even stepping out of the car! Penny creates an ethos of tranquillity and composure and is able to tailor exercises for each breed of dog seamlessly. The advice Penny provided has been priceless in our ability to train and produce the family dog that we wished for, alongside her ongoing mentorship and support when needed. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Penny regardless of the age, breed or discipline of dog - she has incredible knowledge, passion and talent for all things K9 and we will be returning to learn further disciplines soon."
